Dosa or the Rice Crepes is a very common breakfast item in an Indian house. Most of the Indians, especially the South Indians are great lovers of Dosa and Idli. It is healthy and at the same time tasty. In fact there are various ways in which you could prepare Dosas and there are plenty number of restaurants and small food outlets in the South, that provide from 30 -90 varieties of Dosas !!!!
In creating a variant in Dosa, you imagination is all that is required !!! It could made into a vegetarian dish or into a non vegetarian dish and enjoyed it hot along with coconut chutney or any other chutney that you prefer. Dosa is also a common item in my house. My kids love it and they really enjoy having it. Getting them done in the same manner, infact gets me bored, so whenever I have time and in the mood of an experiment, I bring out different variations. This is one like that.
As I always mention, to get my kids have some vegetables is how I end up with all this. Coz, when you make something like this, it interests them and they enjoy it. To make it more tasty, I added in some chicken nuggets, and it just turned out great. This tastes great when served hot and it also an option to make for an evening snack, when you have excess Dosa from the morning breakfast !!!!
