Wishing all the great fathers a very Happy Fathers Day !!! Being fathers day, I wanted to make something special for my dad. He has been the best dad we could ever get. Been through the thick and thin in our loves, and we love him. I had been planning last week what I could make and I thought of making a Trifle Pudding for him. He loves sweets.. But unfortunately, by this Friday, my son fell ill with high fever and by the time he started recovering, my daughter fell ill badly and me too…We are all laid with cold, cough and fever as of now.
Even though not that well, when on medications, they stay fine till the effects last and that time was enough for me to make this quick truffle. I could give my day, something nice and quickly made and he would love it. ( Tell you a secret..I did make the Trifle pudding with the little ingredients I had, but the snaps did not turn out well…so not putting in here…LOL).
This is a simple recipe and I`m sure anyone who has this would want for more. You could make in big batches and store in the refrigerator.
Marie Biscuits – 25 nos
Chocolate drinking powder – 2-3 tbsp
Condensed Milk – 4 tbsp
Powdered Cashews – 2 tsp ( optional)
Butter – for greasing palms.
. Crush all the biscuits either with your hands or you could put them in a zip-lock and roll a rolling pin over. You get finely crushed biscuits.
. In bowl, add the crushed biscuits, powdered cashews, the drinking chocolate powder and mix well.
. Add condensed milk slowly and gradually , untill the mixture is just mixed well to a semi dough consistency.
. Grease your palms with butter and roll small balls from this mixture. You could make any shape you want. Since I did not have much time, I chose to make small balls.
. Refrigerate and store for further use.
Easy crunchy truffles that every family member would love especially kids.
