It`s mango season, and definitely my blog would be incomplete if I do not have any good mango desserts. Mangoes are my favorites and my daughter just loves them. She wants one full mango all to herself, each day….lol… So I thought I would make something that she would definitely love. This is a very simple recipe and my kids loved it. My son was asking for more and more. This weekend we had this easy mango dessert, that just took a few minutes to prepare.
Serves – 6-7
Big Ripe mangoes – 6-7 Nos
Fresh cream – 1 cup
Sugar – optional
Gelatin – 2 tbsp
Warm water – 2 tbsp
. Mix gelatin with equal quantity of cold water to dissolve and then add the warm water and keep aside for soaking.
. Peel the skin off from mangoes and then coarsely chop them. Put them into a blender and blend well till a pulp is formed.
. Transfer this to a bowl. Add the whip cream to this and blend well using a hand mixer. Add sugar if you want it sweet. Since we do not prefer too much sweetness, I did not add.
. Once mixed well, add the dissolved gelatin and mix well till it is mixed well with the mango-cream mixture.’
. Keep in refrigerator for the mixture to set.
. Serve cool.
