Chapatti or Flat Indian Bread is very common in India and there are many ways where you could make one. Usually it is made in a simple, plain manner or you could make by stuffing in with any items of your choice. Well my goal to get my kids have veggies in a way that they will not deny it….lol… They are very fussy eaters when it comes to vegetables and so now I make it point that my recipes would include some veggies in an innovative way, so that they have them and that is how I made this. Simple, healthy and full of nutrition. A great way to start the day with all the nutrients included.
Serves – 4-5
Wheat Powder – 5 cups
Grated carrot – 1/2 cup
Grated Broccoli – 1/2 cup
Spinach cut into small bits – 1/2 cup
Peanut powder – 2 tsp
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Warm Milk – 2 tbsp
Water for the dough.
. Keep aside for about 10-15 mins.
. Heat a pan and when hot enough, cook on both sides till done .
. Serve with any side dish of your choice. I did with soya chunks stir fry.
. Enjoy a healthy meal.
