A simple bake for a wonderful holiday with all the mouthwatering flavors bought out. A must try recipe and you would be the start for the day…
Serves – 6 to 7
Large Butternut Squash – 1 nos (this is the yellow pumpkin that we get in India)
Large Apples – 2 nos
Fresh or frozen cranberries – 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar – 1/2 cup
Butter – 1/4 cup
Flour – 1 tbsp
Ground Nutmeg – 1/2 tsp
Salt – a pinch
. Preheat the oven to 350F. Slice and peel squash and apples.
. Put the squash cubes in an ungreased baking dish.Place the apples on the top and then the cranberries.
. Mix the flour, salt, brown sugar, and nutmeg and sprinkle on top.Dot with butter and bake for about 50 – 60 mins.
. Serve with a touch of cream and see how it lets in your mouth………
