A yummy starter or a snack item when being on a holiday…. truly relishing and enjoyable….
Serves – 3 to 4
Eggs – 1 Nos
Bread – 1 Slice
Polenta – 2 tbsp
Plain flour – 3 tbsp
Paprika – 1 pinch
Black Pepper – 1 tsp
White Fish fillet – 1 nos
Lemon – 1/2 piece
Vegetable Oil for frying
You could increase the amounts as per number of servings….
. Make crumbs from the slice of bread and to this add the polenta and black pepper and mix together for the crust preparation.Put the paprika and flour in another bowl and mix well and keep it aside.
. Cut the fish into small strips and squeeze the lemon juice all over it.Beat the egg in a separate bowl.dip the fish strips into first the flour mixture and then the egg and then the bread crumbs and lay them on a oiled baking paper.
. Preheat the oven to 200C. Place the fish in the oven and cook till the fish is done.Serve with sauce or fresh vegetables. You could also deep fry the fish strips and have with sauce or vegetables.
Serve it hot and get the fish melt in your mouth…..
